Par-ky - Engineering in Hardwood

The simplicity of the Quickstep Uniclic installation system from the laminate floor market has been adapted to Par-ky hardood flooring - making it the easiest hardwood floor to install on the market today.

Real Hardwood

The wearing layer of Par-ky is real hardwood and over 10 times thicker than a laminate surface. The natural beauty of these floors is every part a beautiful of a soild floor, but with the added benefit of a high denisity backing board providing compression resistance far higher than natural hardwood.

Double Sided Impregantion

Most of the hardwood wear layer is impregnated with resins from the adhesive and the surface lacquers resulting in high durability and a floor surface much stronger than natural hardwood.

Total Aqua Sealing

Total aqua sealing on the uniclic joints resists the penetration of moisture when accidents occur. Covering both the tongue and the groove joints along both sides and the ends of the boards give a level of comfort to the end user.

Surface Strength

The indent of a 20kg ball is far less on Par-ky than on the equivalent solid hardwood floor. The hardwood surface relies on the 1100 kg per sq metre density of the backing panel, which has about 3 times more density than natural hardwood.

Forestry Stewardship Council

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council. FSC is a unique initiative enabling consumers to recognize wooden products from forests that are managed in an environment friendly, social and economical responsible manner. Consumers can recognize FSC wooden products thanks to the FSC certificate and the product labeling. Par-ky is cooperating with the FSC standards via it’s mother company Decospan. The Decospan group number is SGS-COC-0481. The Par-ky Designers’ collection for instance is offered in FSC guaranteed wood only.

Enviornment is Protected

Wood veneered flooring is truly a high tec flooring. It is authentic, beautifull, durable and practical. Wood veneerd flooring marries the look and feel of solid wood with durability and user friendliness. The ancient Egyptians were the first to use wood veneer. Today the technique has been refined but the aim is still the same, wood veneer optimises the usage of logs that are offered by natur. With a net usable surface of approximately 600 m² per m³ log, no other natural product can give us such added value.
